How your thoughts affect your dreams

Yes, how you think will affect your pursuits in life. Your pursuit of happiness is linked to how you perceive everything. Absolutely everything, whether it be people, the news, relationships or beauty...

So I want you to ponder on what type of thinker you are...?

Growing up I'd say I was the type of thinker that was easily influenced by others. Particularly friends...friends that have their own opinions formed from other people's lifestyles or the influence society constructs.

I would definitely say that getting nearer and nearer to my 20s was definitely challenging in terms of my mentality.  This was because I was around people with scattered opinions negative thinkers, compulsive liars, people who held bitterness and anger within their hearts. In contrast to this I had good influences around me also. For example friends and family who are considerate,  judge nobody but themselves, loving,  kind and put others before themselves.  So I luckily grew to understand that I preferred the good people over the bad. I prefer the good thoughts over the negative, but these habits were so ingrained in me it took ages to be independent to have my own thought system and one that's not easily influenced by society. I yearned for my thoughts to be pure,  healthy and positively impact other people .  It's like when you hear people say you need to love yourself or you need to tell yourself that you're beautiful because you are and how habit  becomes lifestyle and you actually know you are beautiful because that's all you tell yourself, it's normal .

My thoughts  started to impact my day-to-day life and as many people who are successful say, getting to success is not about being on a straight line it is about going off route coming back and finding yourself. I realised that my thinking started to align with my pursuits.

So ask yourself this...does how I think agree with who I want to be?
Am I helping myself by thinking fruitfully and positively towards my future or am I damaging my pursuit of happiness?

I wasted enough time thinking about being in a relationship or how to please people who aren't fond of me or how to please everyone yet alone think of my dreams. Having grown up I've now come to understand that everything I was concerned about when I was young is exactly that of the typical saying that it won't matter when you're older, and they told the truth because I couldn't care less.

Are you a negative thinker, that often doubts before ever trying? This is toxic to your dreams and mental discipline requires a certain amount of diligence and discipline that we must seek to do, and this is often dependent on the love we have for ourselves.

Having said that, how do you look at yourself? This is the most important thought that  can affect your dreams. Taking steps to be kinder to yourself and start investing in yourself day by day will only compliment your future. So why not start adding value now?
